Pablo Corona-Sampedro ‘24, Liam Abbew ‘25, and Ryan Bereski ‘25 all attended the UConn Honor Band Festival. They rehearsed and worked with UCONN professors before performing in a concert alongside other students from throughout Connecticut.

This past Thursday, students from the African American Literature class, International Baccalaureate Music class, and members of the Black Student Union attended a performance of "Harlem on My Mind" at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook.
The performance “Harlem on My Mind” is a dynamic musical journey through the Harlem Renaissance created and performed by New York artist Julia Breanetta Simpson.

On Saturday, February 24, Notre Dame High School celebrated a gift made by Kristen Cottiero, in recognition of her husband Michael Cottiero’s ‘87 birthday. This gift was made in honor of his love for his alma mater, Notre Dame. This transformational gift of $500,000 to the Excellence Imagined Campaign and the Notre Dame Green Knights Hockey Program will impact the lives of students for years to come. The President’s Office Suite has been named the “Michael A. Cottiero ‘87 President’s Office Suite.”
A Class of 1987 graduate of Notre Dame, Mac was the Captain of a state championship hockey team! Following the celebration, Mike and Kristen attended Senior Night for this year’s hockey team.
Five members of our Model United Nations Club competed in a virtual conference today. Brent Wang ‘25, Alberto Torres ‘26, Troy Kuselias ‘26, David Alberino ‘25, and Steven Torres ‘26 represented their countries on the topic of Space Security. Brent Wang ‘25 and Troy Kuselias ‘26 won Honorable Mention Awards. Steven Torres ‘26 won Outstanding Delegate Award! Congratulations to all who participated!
