What is the Notre Dame Electronic Portfolio?

The purpose of the electronic portfolio is to showcase the work you completed during your four years at Notre Dame for you, your parents, teachers, perspective colleges, or even a potential employer. You will create a unique, digital document that will contain examples of your work that demonstrate your understanding of various subject matter. The purpose of each submitted assignment or project is to prove you successfully satisfied each stated outcome Notre Dame has established in order to graduate.

The ultimate goal is to illustrate your growth over time by demonstrating an understanding of your own work, as well as applying knowledge to a particular situation, problem, exercise, or activity from class.

Each student is required to submit artifacts (assignments/projects) along with individual reflections every term during their four years. Upon graduation, each student will have proven that they satisfied all of Notre Dame's academic requirements with their portfolio which will contain more than two dozen examples of the work they've accomplished, summaries of their service obligations, a resume, and a general snapshot of their progression during the last four years.

For more information please visit the portfolio's student information page.
