SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AID

Academic Scholarships
Notre Dame will award 10 academic scholarships to the top 10 applicants. The top two applicants will each be awarded $2500 and their remaining eight will be awarded $2000. Academic scholarships will be renewed annualy as long as the student maintains a healthy academic and discipline record.

Financial Aid
Parents who submit a financial aid application will automatically be considered for financial assistance. It is recommended that all students complete an application. Aid is awarded according to the amount of funds available and degree of need. Awards will be mailed upon acceptance to Notre Dame High School. Last year 224 students applied for assistance. 85% received awards between $500 and $2,000 from the Brothers of the Holy Cross, the Notre Dame Loyalty and Endowment Corporation, and other sources. Total aid awarded was
$405, 000. 57 freshmen received financial help in the 2007-08 school year. In addition, some of the Loyalty and Endowment awards are scholarships awarded based on specific criteria: grade point average, class in school, son of an alumnus, and participation in activities.

There are not any guarantees of financial aid awards. For additional help it is recommended that parents seek assistance from outside resources.

Notre Dame is continually seeking new sources of financial assistance for its students.
