The Loyalty and Endowment Fund
The Notre Dame Loyalty and Endowment Fund was first established in 1983. The sole purpose of the fund was to secure the future of the school through an endowment that provided financial assistance to deserving students. In 2006, its purpose was expanded to accept gifts for general education purposes as well.
Since 1995, the Fund has grown from approximately $500,000 to over $4.3 million.
As the principal amount of the endowment continues to grow through contributions, the opportunity for increased income has made financial assistance available to more students.
Named Scholarships and Awards
Named scholarship and awards to the Endowment Fund are encouraged at any level. You can click here for the latest list of scholarships through June 30, 2007.
Naming opportunities are available at the following levels:
- Fully Endowed Scholarship: $125,000 or more
- Named Scholarship: $25,000
- Named Award: $10,000
All named scholarships and awards may be established with an out right gift or pledge over a specific period of time. They give the donor the opportunity to perpetuate the honor or memory of a special individual. Gifts at these levels receive permanent recognition on a plaque that hangs in the main hallway of the school.
