BECOME A CLASS CAPTAIN!

Class Captain Mission

The Class Captains, working as an extension of the Alumni Association, encourage and foster communication with and participation in the Notre Dame community. Through their own efforts and those of their class network, they maintain active relationships between their classmates, Alumni Association and Development Office.

Immediate Goals:

• Attend annual kick-off meeting/dinner (held yearly in September)
• Make a three-year commitment (more if you want)
• Act as liaison between Notre Dame and your class
• Disseminate information on Notre Dame (school, alumni, class activities/news) to your class
• Promoting School to Any Prospective Students

Responsibilities:

• Find lost classmates (Yearly)
• Organize an up-to-date e-mail directory
• Organize classmates for Phonathon
• Submit class notes for Knightly News

Long-term goals:

• Class newsletter (Yearly)
• Class website (on Notre Dame site)
• Help organize reunion committee during your reunion year
• Inform class of fellow classmates vital info (marriages/births/deaths)
• Yearly gatherings (summer picnic/KofH Dinner/ND athletic event)
• Support classmate when inducted as Knight of Honor
