Financial Aid - FACTS

Notre Dame High School has partnered with the online service of FACTS to process Financial Aid applications. FACTS does not decide whether financial assistance will be given or how much to give: rather, FACTS provides a need-based financial aid analysis. All information from FACTS is kept confidential.
Results are reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee who will make recommendations based on the next year's budget.

To start the process, please click on the FACTS logo to log in to the Financial Aid for School Tuition website. Online, email and help is provided via FACTS. Please do not call the school with any questions.

The charge for the application is $30.00 and is to be paid by credit card at the end of the session.

Students who are currently receiving financial aid will have to reapply for each school year using FACTS Tuition Management Website.  If you have any questions regarding financial aid, please contact Mr. Pasquale G. Izzo, Director of Admissions '00 (203.937.3230) OR Mr. Christopher R. Olt '02, VP for Finance & Operations (203.937.3236).

Merit Scholarships & Financial Aid

Merit Scholarships
Notre Dame offers ten academic scholarships each year to the incoming freshmen class. The admissions committee determines the recipients based on the results of the entrance exam. The top two students are awarded $4,000, while the next eight students are awarded $3,000. These awards are renewed annually provided the student maintains a healthy academic and discipline record.

Financial Aid

Need-based financial aid is available through the Notre Dame Loyalty and Endowment Fund and other sources. Approximately 30% of Notre Dame students receive financial aid in the form of scholarships or awards that generally range from $1,000 - $3,000. Last year, $850,000 was awarded in financial aid and scholarships.

Shepherds Program

Notre Dame is one of three schools in Connecticut that receives scholarship support from Shepherds Inc., a non-profit organization that helps fund a student's four-year tuition and pairs that student with a mentor from freshman through senior year. Students are reccomended by Notre Dame to the Shepherds Program based on their financial need. Please click here for more information regarding the Shepherds Program.
