Davis Scholarship – The creators of the “Student Award Search Aid” website are offering a scholarship for 2019.  The amount of Scholarship:  $1,000.  Our website was developed for the purpose of helping students locate and apply for scholarships. Big Y Annual Scholarship ProgramIn tribute to both its employees and customers, Big Y offers a series of scholarships that honor the late Big Y founders/brothers, Paul H. and Gerald E. D’Amour; also a scholarship series recognizing area Law Enforcement and Firefighters contributions, and a category acknowledging Military Service members and their families. Big Y offers over 300 scholarships each year totaling more than $250,000. All recognize academic merit and achievement, and are awarded to the most academically outstanding students in the Big Y market area. To be eligible, a student’s permanent residence or school must be located within Connecticut or Massachusetts. All Big Y employees are eligible regardless of their residence. Big Y scholarships are available to High School Seniors and Undergraduates.  Big Y employees and their dependents are eligible. eCoin4Dummies Scholarship for Academic StudiesAnnual $1,000 scholarship grant is available to a high school senior who has been accepted to an accredited university. Application requirements: Essay of 1500-2000 words about a specific cryptocurrency; and a 5-10 minute video consisting of essay summary.

Elks National Foundation Inc., Milford BPO Elks Lodge #1589 Most Valuable Student Scholarship – College scholarship available to high school seniors pursuing a four-year degree in a US college/university.  There are 500 four-year awards: from 480 $4,000 scholarships to two $50,000 Scholarships. Applications will be judged on scholarship, leadership and financial need. The selection of winners begins at the local Lodge level and continues through district, state and national judging. The Final Fantasy Scholarship – This $1,000 scholarship is a highly competitive award for high school seniors and college students who enjoy the Final Fantasy game franchise, and who will be attending any level of college next calendar year. Students applying must submit a brief essay explaining their relationship with Final Fantasy games and how it has made you a better student and person, and any lessons learned in specific games.  Criteria to win is the quality of your essay in communicating your love for Final Fantasy and personal growth. The Silver Pen Writing Competition Scholarships – Evergreen Woods, a retirement community located at 88 Notch Hill Road, North Branford, CT, is proud to offer the Silver Pen Writing Competition Scholarship Awards for the 2018-19 school year.  Silver Pen is a unique opportunity to bridge the communication gap between younger and older generations. The competition is open to all high school seniors who live or attend school within 25 miles of Evergreen Woods. Employees and children of employees at Evergreen Woods are also eligible. And there is no GPA requirement for this writing competition.  Scholarship Awards: 1st place $1,500; 2nd place $1,000; 3rd place $750; 4th place $500.
