  • 3D Printing

    The 3D Printing Club encourages and supports students in their efforts to learn, design, and develop 21st century skills utilizing 3D Printers and computer-aided-design (CAD) programs. In this club, students will have the opportunity to 3D print designs they have created in CAD programs.

    The Notre Dame Book Club meets to discuss a selected book.  The club reads a wide variety of genres and provides an environment to explore and have a unique literary experience.

    1. In addition to discussion once a month the book club will meet to discuss current literary news and make plans for upcoming events

    The Dungeons and Dragons club was formed to give our peers the chance to experience a game system that may be foreign to them, to give our peers a chance to meet and talk to people they probably would not have talked to. The game we play, even though it is a fictional game, gives the opportunity for the players to think in a more outside the box manner, encouraging critical thinking. Dungeons and Dragons is a fantasy role playing game that allows its players to use their imagination, thus helping creativity. The game is one that encourages players to think differently and problem solve. As a party, players must work together to achieve their goals within the game, helping build teamwork and interpersonal skills. The Game Master is the person who is running the game, it is their responsibility to give their players a challenging and engaging story, which can also help build leadership.

    The mission of Model UN is to provide an opportunity for Notre Dame students to understand the real functioning of the United Nations and to gain a greater awareness of member states and the value of peaceful diplomacy to resolve international problems (real-world issues).Students in our Model UN club use 21st Century skills.  They research, debate, use critical thinking skills, collaborate with others, communicate, and use leadership skills. Students frequently attend Model UN conferences to engage with students from other schools.

    The purpose of the Outdoorsmen Club is to bring students together with a shared interest for outdoor activities such as hiking, boating, hunting, but especially fishing and give them an opportunity to expand upon that interest.

    The purpose of the award winning Bass Team is to give students an opportunity to compete in High School bass fishing through several tournament trails. Student competitors need to maintain a good GPA and complete community service. Students receive the benefit of learning about the sport and ensuring its future, as well as the pride that comes with representing their school.

    Students will design and build a robot to compete against other teams in task-oriented VEX Robotics competitions. Students learn lifelong skills in teamwork, leadership and communications. Tournaments are held year-round at the regional, state, and national levels.

Whether you are interested in basking in the spotlight, running the spotlight, or want to stay backstage, there is a spot for everyone in Notre Dame Theater! 

    We have two shows annually- a play in the fall and a musical in mid-March.
