The Holy Cross Fund
How You Can Help the ND Community
The Holy Cross Fund was established to support young men with some of the greatest need. The fund provides essential financial relief for students and families above and beyond the cost of tuition.
Through generous donations, this fund has allowed young men to thrive at Notre Dame regardless of their financial situation. Historically gifts have been used to provide funding for meals for some students, financial support for trips and extracurricular activities, and funding for classroom supplies or technology for students. It also provided much needed funding for the renovation of the Campus Ministry Center, a gathering space for students.

How the CARES Act Impacts Your Gift
If you do not itemize but make a cash gift to charity, you will be allowed to take a special tax deduction, up to $300 (per taxpayer unit), to reduce your tax liability.
An increase in the deduction limit up to 100% of a donor's annual income for cash gifts (previously the deduction was capped at 60% of annual income). If you make a gift you will be able to deduct more this year.
Gifts from previously established Donor-Advised Funds allow you to make a gift now without impacting your personal financial security.
