Notre Dame High School & the University of New Haven are happy to announce
50% tuition scholarship to all Notre Dame students!
WEST HAVEN: Notre Dame High School (ND) and the University of New Haven (UNH) are excited to announce the expansion of their collaboration. UNH will now offer a half-tuition scholarship to all Notre Dame students, faculty and staff, and children of faculty and staff, who qualify for acceptance and enroll at the university.
Notre Dame will offer a half-tuition scholarship to sons of full-time UNH faculty and staff who qualify for acceptance and enroll at Notre Dame.
This scholarship is renewable annually as long as the student enrolled in courses at UNH remains in good academic standing.
The longstanding collaboration between Notre Dame and the University of New Haven began in the 1970s, with the shared use of the UNH Library and enrollment in college-level courses among ND upperclassmen. Several ND teachers also serve as adjunct faculty at UNH.
In the 1980s and 1990s, ND began to utilize classroom space at UNH during the day, while UNH began to utilize classroom space at ND during the evening. UNH security also began patrolling ND’s campus daily. In the early 2000s, UNH School of Education students completed resident teaching observations and practicum assignments on the ND campus.
Both Robert F. Curis, President of Notre Dame, and Dr. Steven Kaplan, President of the University of New Haven, look forward to the continuous growth of the collaboration and relationship between the two institutions.
