Notre Dame packs over 80,000 meals for Haiti

On November 29, 2018, the Notre Dame High School community, along with Halsey Associates of New Haven, came together to host the largest Harvest Pack meal-packing project in the region.

Notre Dame began their annual Harvest Pack event in 2016, packing 25,000 meals to send to St. Therese School and Orphanage in Carrefour, Haiti. The following year, they surpassed their goal and packed 55,000 meals. Notre Dame’s 3rd annual Harvest Pack was an overwhelming success.  Surpassing their goal of packing 75,000 meals in four hours, the ND Community was able to pack 83,882 meals packed in just 3.5 hours!

Notre Dame is grateful for the generous financial support of Halsey Associates in New Haven, the West Haven and New Haven Rotary Clubs, and a Rotary District 7980 grant. Without their support, this event would not have been the overwhelming success that it was.
