Mr. Footit received his B.S. in English from Southern Connecticut State University and his M.A. in Education/Curriculum and Instruction-Computer Design from the University of Phoenix. After Mr. Footit earned his teaching certification, he taught English at ND for 15 years. Now, Mr. Footit serves as the Director of Instructional Technology and leads the Video Production signature program. He has been a dedicated member of the ND faculty for over 20 years. Mr. Footit and his wife, Ellen, have three children; Julia who attends Sacred Heart University, Katie who attends Guilford High School and Gehrig a sophomore here at ND. Gehrig has been the football team’s water boy since he was six years old! When Mr. Footit is not in the classroom, he can be found at every ND football, basketball, and hockey game! A fun fact about Mr. Footit is that he has attended over 1,000 Notre Dame sporting events! |
