Degree(s): Bachelor of Music - Jazz Performance, Ithaca College; Master of Music- Jazz Performance, SUNY Purchase; Advanced Certificate in Music Education, Brooklyn College; Professional Certification in K-12 Music Education Employed Since: 2022 Biography: David Love joined the ND Community as Director of Music in 2022. He received his Bachelor of Music degree from the Ithaca College of Music, and his Masters of Music in Jazz Studies degree from SUNY Purchase. David has been involved in music education at all age levels from Pre-k to Graduate students, including nine years at St. Stephens Episcopal School in Austin Texas. While at St. Stephens he founded a jazz guitar ensemble, started a recording technology program, and was an on campus dorm parent for four years . David is a professional musician who has been playing guitar in the Austin and New York city areas since 1999. He also ran his own recording studio and produced over a dozen albums for Austin area artists. |
