An Evening with Scott driscoll
MARCH 9, 2026
PRESENTATION FROM 6:30PM – 7:30PM
STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER
Join us for an important and eye-opening evening with Scott Driscoll, President of Internet Safety Concepts, LLC who will present "Empowering Smart Online Choices in an Evolving digital world". This event is open to all alumni and current parents, and is especially meaningful for families navigating the realities of raising teens in a digital world. With the constant surge of new information, programs and apps, the world is a click or text away. But with new advances come new dangers and concerns. Parents need to be aware of the technology their children use and the trouble that can follow if safety rules are not in place.
Most apps can be used in fun, positive ways – but not all programs are appropriate for all ages. This program shows parents the positives and potential pitfalls of today’s most popular programs. It’s a practical, informative opportunity for parents to gain clearer insight into the online spaces their children interact with every day.
Scott Driscoll is the President and Founder of Internet Safety Concepts, LLC (est. 2007), a nationally-recognized speaker and educator on online safety, technology choices and digital citizenship. A retired police officer and former member of the FBI Innocent Images Task Force in New Haven, Connecticut, Scott brings over 30 years of law-enforcement experience into the classroom and auditorium.
He has worked with thousands of families, school systems and organizations, delivering practical, compelling presentations on the risks and responsibilities of the digital world. His programs address topics such as cyber-bullying, sexting, live-streaming, social-media behavior and digital footprints—helping students and adults alike make smart, informed choices online.
