Alumni Reunions Bring Classes Together Across Generations

December 17th, 2025

This fall, Notre Dame welcomed alumni back to campus for two joyful reunion celebrations that highlighted the enduring spirit of the Notre Dame family.

In October, members of the Classes of 1980 and 1985 came together for a combined reunion that drew more than 80 classmates. The Class of 1980 celebrated their 45th reunion, while the Class of 1985 marked their 40th. The weekend offered a full slate of activities, including a guided tour of campus, a home football game filled with school spirit, and a lively dinner at New England Brewing Company. Alumni enjoyed sharing memories, reconnecting with old friends, and seeing firsthand how the campus has grown while staying true to its roots.

Over Thanksgiving weekend, the Class of 2020 returned to campus to celebrate their five-year reunion. Alumni were especially impressed by recent building renovations and updates, and the weekend provided a meaningful opportunity to reconnect after graduating during such a unique time. The celebration was made even more special as several faculty members joined the gathering and were excited to welcome the alumni back to campus. The weekend was filled with laughter, reflection, and pride in their shared Notre Dame experience.

Both reunions were wonderful reminders of the lifelong connections formed at Notre Dame and the joy of coming home to celebrate friendship, tradition, and community.
