In Memoriam

Notre Dame High School holds in sacred memory the graduates who have returned to God. In the Holy Cross tradition, we entrust them to the loving mercy of God and carry forward the legacy of faith, community, and service they embodied during their time as Green Knights.

This page is updated regularly to honor those we have lost. If you are aware of the passing of a fellow graduate, we ask that you notify the Office of Advancement so that we may include them in our remembrance and ensure no one is forgotten.

How does Notre Dame learn of a graduate's passing?

Notices reach us through many channels — calls and letters from family members and fellow graduates, newspaper obituaries, returned mail, and more. The Office of Advancement is grateful for every message we receive, as it allows us to honor each graduate with the care and dignity they deserve.

To share news of a recent passing, please contact Khalil Dunham-Carson at 203.937.3268 or [email protected].

Ways to Honor Our Deceased Alumni

We invite you to remember our deceased graduates and their families in your prayers, and to share any intentions with the Campus Ministry Office.

You may also choose to honor their memory through a gift to the Notre Dame Fund or by exploring Planned Giving — both enduring ways to ensure that the mission they valued continues to shape the lives of future Green Knights.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
