December 17th, 2025

The Notre Dame arts community has been flourishing this season, with outstanding performances across theater and music that showcase the remarkable talents of our students.

Theater Delivers Broadway Magic

Last weekend, Notre Dame Theater delighted audiences with its lively musical comedy Curtains: School Edition, presented in The Collins '58 Auditorium. The production blended Broadway flair with a classic whodunit, delivering an evening filled with laughter, suspense, and show-stopping performances.

Directed by Mrs. Casey LaMonaca, the cast—made up of more than fifty students from Notre Dame, Sacred Heart Academy, Lauralton Hall High School, West Haven High School, Hamden High School, and Platt Tech—brought the 1950s Broadway mystery to life with infectious energy, strong vocals, and dynamic choreography. Audiences were kept guessing until the final moments.

Looking ahead, Notre Dame Theater will present You Can't Take It With You on February 27, 28, and March 1, with auditions currently underway.
