Green Knights Across the Map: Spring Alumni Receptions Bring Notre Dame Community Together

This spring, Notre Dame High School took its community on the road — bringing the spirit of the Green Knights to alumni in New York City, Naples, and Delray Beach for a series of intimate receptions that celebrated reconnection, renewed friendships, and the enduring bonds of a Notre Dame education.

New York City | Yale Club | February 25

The spring series kicked off in style at the iconic Yale Club in Midtown Manhattan, where Notre Dame alumni gathered for an evening that was equal parts reunion and celebration. President Robert Curis joined the group to share an inspiring update on everything happening at their alma mater — from the school's historic transition to coeducation to the exciting momentum building on Elm Street in West Haven. "Knights in NYC!" the school shared on social media following the event, capturing the energy of the room. "It was a great night reconnecting with Notre Dame alumni and getting an inside look at the future of our school." Alumni came out in force to celebrate, and the message from President Curis was clear: Notre Dame is growing, evolving, and stronger than ever.

Naples, Florida | March 24

Just weeks later, the Green Knights headed south. Alumni in Southwest Florida gathered for an evening of warm conversation and connection — proof that the Notre Dame family stretches well beyond Connecticut. "The Notre Dame family stretches far," the school noted after the Florida events, "and this week, we felt it." The Naples reception drew alumni who have made the Sunshine State home, and for many, it was a chance to reconnect with classmates they hadn't seen in years.

Delray Beach, Florida | March 25

The very next evening, the reception tour continued just up the coast in Delray Beach, bringing together another group of dedicated alumni for what became a memorable back-to-back Florida swing. The warmth of the welcome matched the weather — and the school captured the spirit perfectly: "There's nothing quite like reconnecting with our Notre Dame family. This week's Florida alumni gatherings were a wonderful reminder of the bonds that last long after graduation."

A Season of Connection

These three receptions are part of a broader spring engagement effort by the Notre Dame Office of Alumni Relations and Development.
